A different style of card.

Well I really can't take the credit for the design of this card, even though i made this card. I saw this style of card on someone else website but can't remember whose it was. I have a vague idea who was the designer but need confirmation. So if the person responsible for designing the shape of card, the please let me know and i'll accredit it to you.

I made this using the Popcorn Christmas CD Rom.
Red Mirri Board, Sticky gems, spotted Ribbon, silver peeloffs coloured in red with permanent marker pens, Green glitter board, and White Hammered Base Card.

Manga girl card

My 5yr old son pushed me into using this image. He said it looked like his girlie friend at school.
He stood over me while i coloured it with Staedtler ergosoft triangular pencils. He also chose the colours.
I used some glitter card stock, some plain green card stock and a sheet of designer checked card stock from the Spring Glitter(Ltd Ed Colours) matstack from DCWV. I also used some spotted grossgrain ribbon. The Sentiment is from Crafters Companion. I also used the plain oval and a scallop oval nesties.

I had a play with the Ltd Popcorn stamp

Today I received with my order the new Ltd Birthday Popcorn stamp given out
with all orders to celebrate Crafters Companion's 4th Birthday.
I used my new Glitter Girls Mini Boox Board, Cardstock from Crafters Companion,Papers are from my Bearly Mine Designs Extreme Inserts CD
and some Mirri Board from craftstock.

The font used on the inside is Teenage Girl 1.

I made this using the free sample sheets from Sara's website, following the launch of her new 2 x double cd rom sets Occupations and Hobbies.

Unfortunately I have the flu

I had a sudden high temperature of 38.8 and was feverish, so my hubby looked up the Pandemic website to check to see if I had the dreaded swine flu. Fortunately its not swine flu, but normal flu and was given a special coded number to pick up some anti viral drugs(Tamiflu) from a collection point. I still feel horrid though. My hubby is starting now with a cough, so he's now worried if he's gonna get it. My little boy is showing signs but my daughter not. Lets hope we get it over and done with soon.

Feeling dreadful again!

I must apologise for my non existance on here. I have had family visiting for the past week
and after they went I started feeling under the weather yet again, got the start of a sore throat and cold again. Its only been a week since i got over the last cold that lasted for 3wks. I blame my 18month old nephew Leo. My sister and Brother in law came down from up North(Carnforth) for a week and Leo was just coming to the end of his cold but was so very generous that he gave us his before going home on Saturday...:-( The last time they came down i so ill from a sickness virus he had brought down with him that I was throwing up and going to the loo every 10 mins, Danny my hubby was the same and his mum too. Oh well these are the joys of living in different parts of the country. The viruses in other parts of the country are different strains, so when you think you won't get another cold..whallop you do when family or friends visit.

I'll just have to wait to see how long this one lasts for.

I am so gutted, he was one of my favourite singers from Boyzone along with Ronan.

Ildiko's live challenge

Here is my finished card following the steps done by Ildiko, in her live challenge on Friday on Crafters Companion Forum.

The papers and topper was taken from Joanna Sheens Vintage Christmas cd set, and the cardstock I had in my stash. The sentiment stamp was from a free set in Cardmaking & Papercraft Magazine.

This is a Mini version.

ATC swap for Butterflyuk

Here I have done 8 cute Halloween atc's for a swap this month for Butterflyuk forum.

I used a very dark green linen cardbase and printed off backgrounds from a set I purchased from Here (scrapbookingmad) along with all the toppers. The pale peach matting under the toppers and the grosgrain spotted ribbon I had in my cardstock stash.

I made this for my friend Hilary and her daughter Libby, they both came along to my sons birthday tea at Pizza Hut on the 18th Sept. I made it using a digi kit i bought from scrap-studio website. Its called A Fairy Tale.

My Father in Laws Card for his 65th Birthday

Today I made this card for my father-in-laws 65th birthday, he can't sit still for 2 mins so i thought i'd give hm a hint that he needs to relax on his birthday!

I used the Mens Popcorn cd from Crafters Companion to make this card. I also used a blue A4 sheet of holographic card, some peeloffs, an A4 sheet of dark blue card for the card base. And finally some silver spray and sparkle on the topper.
